Coleman Rites Set

Mrs. Rosa Alice Coleman, 87, a resident of Riffe since 1893, died Friday in a Cenlralia nursing home following a lingering illness.

She was born Dec. 12, 1881, in West Virginia.

Mrs. Coleman was the widow of Isaac Ferrel Coieman, who died in 1953. Her father, Floyd L. Riffe, established the first post office in Riffe in the 1890s.

Surviving are five daughters Mrs. Elmer Drew, La Mesa, Calif.; Mrs. Leonard Mills, Rochester; Mrs. Goldie Shaw and Mrs. Percy Jellun, both of Pendleton, Ore., and Mrs. Auggie Molthu, Coquille, Ore.; three sons, Ralph F., LaHabra, Calif.; Ernest R., Renton, and Earl S., Hoquiam; two sisters, Mrs. Vernie Schooner, Tacoma and Mrs. Maude Schwartz, Olympia; a brother, Jesse Riffe, Maple Valley, Wash., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 3 p.m. in the Boooe Mortuary chapel, Chehalis. Burial will follow at the Claquato Cemetery, west of Chehalis.
