LONGMIRE - Roy, 70, Morton, passed away suddenly on Feb. 16th. He was born May 3, 1890 in Yelm and had been a resident of Morton since 1938 and a resident of Southwest Washington for his entire life. Mr. Longmire was a direct descendant of the founder of Longmire Springs and was a machinist by trade. Surviving the deceased are two sons, Dan and Roy, Morton; a daughter, Mrs. Erma Timmons, Portland, 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will by Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Morton Methodist church with Rev. Everett M. Filbert officiating. Burial in Yelm cemetery under direction of the Fissell Funeral home.
