Roy R. Poyns

Roy R. Poyns, 48 of Centralia, dropped dead last Friday in the central bus station in that city while awaiting a bus to take him to Tenino. his death was attributed to heart disease.

Poyns was born in Tacoma, but had spent all of his life in Centralia. At the time of his death he was a deputy county assessor. He was a past noble grand of Centralia Lodge No. 67, I. O. O. F., and past chief patriarch of Centralia Encampment No. 9.

Surviving relatives are his mother, Mrs. Mary Poyns; a brother Fred of Malone, and an 8-year old son, Buddy.
