"Death of Mrs. G. W. Caldwell"
Funeral services will be held Thursday for Mrs. G. W. Caldwell, who died at the family home Tuesday morning, December 17. Mrs. Caldwell suffered a stroke on November 7. Sarah Ellen Caldwell was born in Somerset county, Pennsylvania. She was married to George W. Caldwell in 1871, in Minnesota. Later they moved to Oklahoma. Twenty-five years ago they came to Washington, where they have since lived, most of the time in Toledo. The widower, four sons and two daughters survive; Oscar of Elgin, Kans.; Vernon, Grass City, Calif.; Albert L., Toledo; Charles, whereabouts unknown; Mrs. Ollie Gleason, Kelso, and Mrs. Millie Gilley of Castle Rock; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of firends. Rev. A. W. Davenport will officiate at the services, which will be directed by L. R. Cattermole of Winlock. Burial will be in the Toledo cemetery.
