Funeral Rites
Last rites for Dr. Samuel Milton Wendt, whose sudden death occurred last Thursday, were held Monday at the John W. Boone chapel, the Rev. herbert E. Gordon of the Westminster Presbyterian church officiating.
A further service was conducted in impressive manner by Chehalis Lodge, F. & A. M., after which the body was taken to Portland for interment, the Rev. Mr. Gordon officiating at the graveside service.
Pallbearers were from the Lewis County Medical association and included Doctors M. Couperus, J. P. McDermott, A. E. MacMillan, H. L. Petit, W. D. Turner and P. S. Garnett.
