Death Claims Nonagenarian
Mrs. Sarah Virginia Moore, 94, resident of Doty since 1909, passed away Thursday afternoon at the home of son, George, 631 New York Avenue, in Chehalis. She was born February 17, 1855, in Summersville, W. Va. Surviving the aged woman are five children, 29 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren. The children, in addition to the Chehalis man, are Simeon L. Moore, Doty; Obe L., Myrtle Point, Ore.; Mrs. Ada Ward, Holcomb, W. Va., and Mrs. Erma Skelton, Camas. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Pontious-Cattermole Chapel, with the Rev. John Parks of Doty officiating. Burial will be in the Dryad cemetery.
