Morton, Dec. 3. - Much encouragement that a valuable quicksilver find has been made on the Tacoma Mercury Company's property, the old Apex mines, east of here was given last week when M. C. Riley of Tacoma, general manager struck ore that panned free quicksilver and showed plenty of bright colors. The strike was made at the end of the ninety foot tunnel the company has driven in the development work.
