"Toledo Pioneer Dies Monday"

Mrs. Thelma Partch, who had resided locally the past 40 years, died Monday evening at the family home three miles east of Toledo. She was born September 21, 1870. Surviving relatives are the widower, William Partch, a son, Marion and two daughters, Miss Dorothy Partch and Mrs. Bertha Blair of Toledo. There are also three other daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Cole of Olympia, Mrs. Ethel Henderson of Raymond and Mrs. Thelma Sherritt of Vader; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Cereta of Reno, Nev. and Alice Herbst of Lambert, Mont.; and two brothers, Harvey Carter of Independence, Ore. and Vernon Carter of Hazleton, Idaho. The body is held at the Cattermole funeral home at Winlock pending funeral arrangements.

Mrs. Partch's death resulted from an infection which followed when she was scratched by a hen.
