Two Toledo Lodges Install Officers

Toldeo, Jan. 5. - Toldeo lodge F. & A. M. and the Eastern Star, held a joint public installatin last Wednesday evenings. The Star installed first, Mrs. Loraine Fissel of Chehalisbeing in charge, assisted by Miss Mamie Deane, marshal; Mrs. W. R. McDowell, chaplain; and Miss Josephine Klein, organist, Mrs. Fissel was presented with a gift for her services. miss Mamie Deane, retiring worthy matron, was presented a past matron's in. During intermission Ernest Moore sang a solo; and Misses Lena Gray and Helen Waterman played a piano duet.

R. G. Paxton of Winlock, past master of the Toledo lodge, was installing officer for the Masons. H. F. Klein acting as marshal. Following the ceremonies a banquet was served by the O. E. S. and the Masonic stewards. George A. Dew presided as toastmaster and the following responded: R. G. Paxton, Mrs. Loraine Fissel, Dr. H. R. Feagles, Mrs. Williams, Miss Mamie Deane, Mrs. R. G. Paxton, Kemp Olson, Wm. Montague, and Rudolph Klein.
