Thos. R. White, an old resident of Centralia, died Saturday night at the residence just south of the city limits. The funeral was held this afternoon from the Sticklin parlors, Rev. G. W. Frame officiating and interment being in the Mt. View cemetery.
Mr. White was 78 years of age. He was a veteran of the Civil War and belonged to the T. P. Price post, G.A.R., in this city.
Mr. White served two years during the war in the 23rd New York Infantry and one year in the 161st Infantry.
Three children survive. They are Addie A. Gourd, Walter W. White and Henry White, all of this city.
