Thomas S. West Dies

Thomas Smith West, aged 78, died at his home in the west of town from a lingering illness, this morning. He is survived by his widow, Mary of Winlock; three daughters, Miss Effie West of Winlock, Mrs. Dorothy Barto of Bellingham, and Mrs. Vernie Peterman of Pullman; and one son, Emerson West of Winlock. He came to Winlock 47 years ago from Georgia. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and the Neighbors of Woodcraft. Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Friday afternoon from the Cattermole Funeral chapel, Rev. Levi Smith of the Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodmen cemetery here.
