Death Claims Chehalis Man

CHEHALIS, Aug. 16 ---- Presumably succumbing to a heart attack, the body of Ulysses Grant Parsons, 75, of Chehalis, was found in a woods six miles south of here yesterday afternoon.

He has been retired since 1919 but had gone there to cut wood as recreation. He was born in Warren county, Ill., June 20, 1864, and had come to Chehalis from Nebraska in September, 1936.

He is survived by his wife, Eva; a daughter, Mrs. Gail P. Lee, Aberdeen; a son, Dell G. Parsons, Sterling, Colo.; a sister, Pear Parsons, Illinois; two grandsons and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 9 o'clock at the John W. Boone mortuary. Rev. Harry Coates will officiate and burial will be at Claquato.

Pall bearers will be Ferdinand Selgwerth, M. J. Barber, Ben Fay, George Thompson, Fremont Burrows and Dr. J. D. Walker.
