Funeral of Wm. Cunningham
Funeral services were held here last Thursday at the Cattermole Home for William Cunningham, 82 who died in a Tacoma hospital Tuesday, following a long illness. Mr. Cunningham was a pioneer of southern Lewis county, having located in the Ainslie district south of here, in March, 1887. He was a native of Tennessee, coming to Washington from Ellerton in that state. Surviving relatives are two sons, Lee Cunningham of Tacoma and James of Ryderwood; also a daughter, Mrs. P. A. Powell of Portland. Rev. Levi Smith of the Baptist church officiated at the funeral, burial being in the local cemetery beside Mrs. Cunningham, who died some years ago.
