Former Vader Man Fatally Burned

Vader, March 17. - W. D. Nolan, for many years engaged in the mercantile business here, was fatally burned Friday night at Benham, Ky., when his store burned. Mr. Nolan, 72 years old, was sleeping over his store. He died Sunday night. Mr. Nolan until about seven years ago was engaged in the mercantile business here. At that time he went east and established a small store at Benham, his sons continuing the business here. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Nancy Nolan; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Howard of Ross point, Ky., and eight sons, Walter, Joseph, Frank, Pearl, George and John Nolan of Vade; Robert of Aberdeen, and James, a student at W. S. C., Pullman. Another son, Herbert, preceded him in death. A brother, Henry Nolan, also lives here, and he had many close relatives in Kentucky. A son, John, left Monday evening to attend the funeral, which will be held in Kentucky.
