West Crego, Oct. 28. - Friends of Mrs. George Dye were saddened to hear of her death last week. The Dye family lived here while the country was unimproved and endured the hardships of pioneering.

Frances John, who has been working in Seattle, it [stet] at home. She visited school last Tuesday.

Mrs. Mary Bona received word of the serious illness of her brother, Frank Tauscher, of Portland.

Mrs. Moberg visited Mrs. Tyler Monday afternoon. The Tylers recently purchased a place here and are improving it.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Olson of Olympia visited Mrs. Olson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Johnstone over the week end.

Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sowers who have been in Yakima, returned home Saturday.
