Wyval Mitchell

Wyval Mitchell, 71, a resident of Chehalis the past 13 years, died Friday, ay 6, at Grant’s Pass, Ore., of pneumonia. Mr. Mitchell had gone to Oregon only a week before to be employed in developing a mine. A telegram to the family told of his illness and almost immediately another message told of his death.

Surviving relatives are his widow, Mrs. Ida Mitchell, 132 River street, this city; three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Huston of Chehalis, Mrs. Margaret Morton of Hoquiam and Mrs. Mabel Labiskke of Brooklyn, Wash. There are also two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Sticklin parlors in this city, Rev. J. C. Tourtellot of the Westminster Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was in the Greenwood burial park in Centralia.
