Zachary Inman, Aged 85, Dies Saturday

Zachary Iman, who lived in Lewis county the past 43 years, died late Saturday evening at the family home on Lacama prarie, near the Lewis and Clark State Park. He was 85 years of age. Death followed an extended illness, his sons and daughters having been summoned some weeks ago when it was thought the end was near. Mr. and Mrs. Inman, who were born in Wisconsin, celebrated the 66th anniversary of their marriage July 4. They were married in Beloit, Wis. Following their marriage the Inmans lived in kansas some time, coming to Lewis county from there. Surviving relatives of Mr. Inman are his widow, who is 81 years of age; three sons, Roy Inman, Jesse Inman and Jack Inman of Lacamas; and seven daughters, Mrs. John W. Parr of Chehalis, Mrs. M. F. Marshall of Napavine, Mrs. C. B. Martin of Tacoma, Mrs. J. R. Pickard of Curtis, Mrs. Fred Hokinson of Hoquiam, Mrs. Jake Vanese of Aberdeen and Mrs. John Morton of Oaklan, Calif. There are also 38 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Cattermole Funeral Home at Winlock Tuesday afternoon, Rev. R. R. Percel of the Winlock Methodist church officiated. Burial was in the Napavine cemetery.
