Book and Journal of Robt. B. McAfee's Mounted Company, in Col. Richard M. Johnson's Regiment, from May 19th, 1813, including Orders, &cc.

Transcriber's Notes:

Robert B. McAfee kept this journal to record his troop's activities during the War of 1812, particularly the Mercer Co. Company's role in the Thames Campaign in Canada. The original journal was donated to the Kentucky Historical Society by Georgia McAfee in the 1920s. To aid in accessing and reading this work, I have divided it into months, as the original work is written as one continuous document. These sections are as follow:

  1. May 1813

  3. July 1813

  4. August 1813
