The following information and photos were contributed by Randle Panfilio, who is looking for additional information about his great-grandfather and family, as well as help in identifying the other men in these photos.

My great grandfather was a train engineer for the Oak Point Piling and Lumber Co. His name was Archelaus F. Low, he was commonly known as Keel. I have several photos of him, some crew members, the Shay locomotive he was responsible for, him at the controls of a three car load of logs, a steam donkey and crew, and a train wreck. I also have a photo that I have yet to find of the rigging crew with the cooks rail car in the background with many members of my family identified. Keel is amongst the crowd.

These are original photographs that date from 1914. There are names on the back of these photos, which are difficult to make out but I can give it my best effort if you would like. How long Keel was employed by OPPL I don't know. My grandmother and mother said the family moved to Chehalis, then to Menlo. Keel retired from the Western Pacific railroad, when I am not sure. He was 20 years older than my great grandmother and passed away many years before my birth.
