Rite Dated In Mineral
MINERAL - Mrs. Adela Combs, 85, Mineral, died Wednesday in a Morton hospital following a lingering illness.
Born April 20, 1878, in Knott County, Ky., she had been a resident of Mineral for 22 years. Prior to that time she lived in Kentucky.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Ruby Helvy, Auburn, Mrs. Marie Bolling, Eureka, Calif., Mrs. Eunice Josling, Auburn, Mrs. Bessie Davis, Morton, Mrs. Allie Combs, and Mrs. Belle Madden, both of Mineral; three sons, Cullen Combs, Emmalina, Ky., and Carl and Pearl, Auburn; one sister, Mrs. Tina Klina, Mineral, and several other sisters and brothers in the east; 34 grandchildren and 40 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday 1 p.m., at the Mineral Presbyterian church, with the Rev. Gerald Groves officiating. Burial will be at the Mineral Cemetery under the direction of the Fissell Funeral Home.
