Curtis - Mrs. Alice Hanes, 76, a resident of the Curtis - Klaber area for the past 21 years, died Saturday in a Chehalis nursing home. she was born Dec. 28, 1885, in Missouri.
Survivors include a son, Merrill Haines, Curtis - Klaber; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Oram, Kansas City, Mo.; a brother, Elmer George, LaGrande, Ore.; and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be Monday, 1 p.m., Boone Mortuary, Chehalis, with the Rev. H. E. Widmer officiating. Burial will be at the Claquato cemetery.
