Ex-Resident Succumbs

ONALASKA - Private funeral services were conducted in Olympia Thursday for Albert V. LeClerc, 77, former Onalaska resident for 30 years when the Carlisle Lumber Co., was in operation here.

He died Tuesday at an Olympia hospital. He was born in Valley Field, Canada, Dec. 31, 1884, and came to the United States shortly thereafter to Massachusetts He moved to the Grays Harbor area and conducted a hardware business before moving to Onalaska. he lived there for 30 years, and worked for the Carlisle Lumber firm, later moving to Portland and then Hanford, for the Atkinson Construction Co. He moved o Olympia eight years ago.

LeClerc was a member of the United Churches of Olympia.

Survivors include his widow, Fay C.; two sons, Robert V., of Olympia, and Robert C., address unknown; a sister, Mrs. Franklin Martin, Santa Rosa, Calif., and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Selene and Eros Mortuary in Olympia. Creation followed.
