"Pioneer Woman of Lewis County Dies"
Chehalis, Monday, June 29.---Mrs. Bertha Redmon, pioneer resident of the Cowlitz River valley, died Friday evening. Deceased is survived by her husband, Grant Redmon; two daughters, Edith of Riffe, and Florence of Portland; and four sons, Grant, Lowell and Max of Riffe and Henry of Portland. Funeral seravices were held at Riffe Saturday afternoon, interment being in the Riffe Cemetery. Mrs. Redmon was born in Texas, June 14, 1871, and came to Lewis County about forty years ago.
