Services Set at Salkum

RIFFE - Mrs. Bessie E. Murphy, 73, a resident of the Riffe area for 35 years, died in a Centralia hospital Wednesday. Born Feb. 4, 1889, she was a member of Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Florence Heiser, Vancouver; Mrs. Beulah Belcher, Mayfield, Mrs. Esther Cook, Toledo; Mrs. Laura Cook, Mrs. Emilie White, and Mrs. Sadie Mills, all of Riffe; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel White, Ukiah, Calif., and Mrs. Florence Jacobs, Gaylord, Mich.; three brothers, Roy, Ernest and John Coles, all of Flint, Mich.; 23 grandchildren, and 56 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Satrday, 10:30 a.m., at the Salkum Community church, with Mr. Raymond Olello officiating. Burial will follow at the Salkum cemetery, under the direction of Cattermole Funeral Home, Winlock.
