The father of a Centralian died early Wednesday at Kirby, Ore. He was Charles B. Dodd, 84, who lived in Centralia until about 17 years ago. He was a former employe of the Eastern Railway and Lumber Co.
One surviving daughter is Mrs. Nellie Barnes of Centralia. Other survivors are the widow, Zee, at home; a son, Ernest Dodd, Kirby and five daughters, Mrs. John McDaniels and Mrs. Earl Dent, both of Kelso; Mrs. Gordon Chapman, Longview, and Ruth and Leal Dodd, both at home.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Kirby.
