Death Takes Carl Bailey
WINLOCK - Carl D. Bailey, a resident of Winlock since 1921, died Wednesday in his home. He was 73.
Mr. Bailey was born Sept. 7, 1895, in Rockport, Mo. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the American Legion and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Winlock.
Survivors include his widow, Marie, at the family home; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Isaacson, Centralia; four sons, William J., Centralia; C. David, Kennewick; Donald L., Grandview; James F., Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Steen, Garfield and Mrs. Mary Pemberton, Hollywood, Calif.; two brothers, Fred, Garfield and Virgil, Spokane, and 19 grandchildren.
Rosary will be at 7:45 o'clock tonight and a mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Conan Lee officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Urban Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cattermole Funeral Chapel, Winlock.
