CHARLES HENRIOT GOES TO REWARD
Early Settler on Cowlitz Prairie Dies After a Long Illness.

Old-time Lewis county friends of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Henriot of Cowlitz will regret to learn of the death of Mr. Henriot, which occurred Friday, November 26, at St. Joseph's hospital in Tacoma. Mr. Henriot had been suffering from ill health for some time past and his death was not wholly unexpected. The deceased was 70 years of age and came to Lewis county with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Henriot, who crossed the plains from Iowa in 1858. Since that time Mr. Henriot had resided continuously on Cowlitz prairie, excepting for an eight-year period which he spent in Tacoma some years ago. He farmed on an extensive scale and was one of southern Lewis county's highly respected and substantial men. The death of his brother, Abel Henriot, with whom he was for many years associated in a family and business way, occurred some years ago.

Mr. Henriot is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sarah Henriot, and two sons, Stanley and Adolph, who reside on Cowlitz prairie, and two daughters, Misses Winifred and Genevieve Henriot, whose home is in Tacoma. Funeral services and burial were held at Tacoma Monday.
