DEATHS REPORTED THIS WEEK

Mrs. Ida W. Healy

Local people were saddened last week to hear of the death of Mrs. Ida Wendle Healy, aged 69 years, wife of Rev. S. S. Healy of Puyallup, former pastor of the Chehalis Presbyterian church. The family made many friends in this vicinity. Mrs. Healy had been in poor health for several months. She died Friday afternoon. Funeral services and burial were held in Puyallup Tuesday afternoon. Deceased is survived by her widower, Res. S. S. Healy; two daughters, Mrs. Myra H. Kizer of Missoula, Mont., and Mrs. Fern Phillips of Puyallup; two brother [stet], F. Roy Wendle and Dr. Floyd G. Wendle of Idaha [stet], and nine grandchildren.

J. D. Smith

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Sticklin Mortuary in Centralia for J. D. Smith of Pe Ell, whose death occurred Sunday. Smith is survived by a son, Leslie Smith. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.

Robert Wesenberg

Funeral services were held yesterday at the Fissel & Reynolds home in Centralia for Robert Wesenberg, victim of an assassin's bullet during a labor gang war in Chicago last Thursday. Rev. Chas. Baker officiated and burial was at Mt. View. Wesenberg was a son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Higgins of Chehalis, having married their daughter eight years ago. He belonged to Polar Star masonic lodge at St. Louis. Other survivng relatives are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wesenberg of Portland; and three sisters, Mrs. Winnifred Morrison and Mrs. Alva Maxmeier of Portland and Mrs. Charles Severs of Centralia.

Terrence O'Toole

The death of Terrence O'Toole, 51, resident of Lewis and Thurston counties for the past 22 years, occurred Sunday at a local hospital. He recently resided at Morton. He is survived by his widow, Laura; two children, Mrs. Virgil Blankenship, Tacoma; Henry O'Toole, Seattle; five brothers and three sisters.

D. O. Dean

Word was received this week of the sudden death of D. O. Dean, principal of the Washington State Training School. His death occurred in a Seattle hospital Wednesday morning where he had been taken a few days previous for treatment. He was operated on and did not rally. The funeral will probably be held in Seattle Monday, pending on the arrival of a son from the east.
