KETCHIKAN - Earl L. Prather, 60, died Thursday morning at a Ketchikan hospital after a brief illness. He was born and raised in Centralia, served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and had resided in Ketchikan for the past 20 years.
Survivors include a cousin, Mrs. Mildred Parmenter, Centralia.
Funeral arrangements were not announced.
