Death Takes Riffe Resident
RIFFE - Mrs. Andrew (Emily) Standifur, 84, a resident of Riffe for the past 31 years, passed away at her home Friday morning.
Mrs. Standifur was born June 16, 1870, in McDowell county, West Virginia.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by seven daughters, Mrs. Vinie McCoy and Mrs. Charity Rose, Florence, Ore.; Mrs. Pearl Martin, San Diego; Mrs. Bernice Porter, Auburn; Mrs. Rose Blakley and Mrs. Rebecca Rose, Riffe, and Mrs. Goldie Whistler, Centralia; six sons, Edward, Andrew, Clavey and Oliver Workman, Riffe; Earl Workman, Raymond, and Alex Workman, Swiss Home, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Priscilla Workman and Mrs. Arvilla Stanley, in Pennsylvania, and 57 grandchildren.
Funeral serivces will be held at 2 p.m., Monday at the Riffe Baptist church. Burial will follow at the Riffe cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Cattermole Funeral Home, Winlock.
