Rochester Native Dies

ROCHESTER - A native of route 1, Rochester, Earl Warren Englund, 41, died suddenly at his home here early Monday following a heart attack.

The deceased, born at Independence June 11, 1923, had lived all his life in Thurston County. He was a logger and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Oakville's William T. Hyder post of the American Legion and of the order of Runeberg.

Surviving are the widow, Delores A., at home; three sons, Larry, Jerry and Jack, at home; a brother, Lawrence Englund, route 2, and mother, Mrs. Hilma Englund, route 2.

Funeral services are Thursday at 11 a.m. at Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia, with the Rev. Albert E. Van Andel officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
