Fred Emerson.

Fred Emerson, who had owned a small farm on Newaukum hill between Claqato and Newaukum for a number of years, died suddenly Tuesday at the home of a neighbor, Mel Lowry. He way 57 years of age. Death was presumably due to a heart attack. Previous to engaging in farming, Mr. Emerson was engaged in the laundry business at Chehalis for some time. So far as known he had no living relatives. The body was in charge of Boone's Mortuary, where funeral services were held yesterday afternoon. Rev. J. C. Tourtellot officiated. Burial was at Claquato.
