Mrs. Horatio (Forest V.) Thomas, 43, the wife of a former Centralia city commissioner, died Thursday evening in a local hospital following an illness of six months.
She was born in North Dakota July 23, 1919, and had resided in Centralia most of her life.
Survivors include her husband Horatio (Hershey) Thomas, Centralia; two sons, Corp. David W. Thomas, with the U. S. Marines in the Caribbean area, and Daniel L., at home; a daughter, Rebecca Jo Thomas, also at home; three brothers, the Rev. Lyle Hagan, Olympia; Arthur Hagan, Eugene, Ore., and Clair Hagan, Seattle; three sisters Mrs. Harold Genge, Mrs. James Barner and Mrs. Marvin Wellcome, all Centralia.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God church in Centralia with the rev. Ralph Phillips officiating. Interment will be at Mountain View cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Sticklin Funeral Home, Centralia.
