OLYMPIA - George Bear, 79, a resident of Olympia for the past six months, died Friday morning at an Olympia nursing home. Before moving to Olympia, he was a five year resident of Centralia and a former resident of Onalaska.

Mr. Bear was born April 17, 1893, at Royal Center, Ind. He was a retired railroad employe and a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen.

He is survived by his widow, Dortha, Olympia; two sons, Joseph L., Olympia, and Delmar, Seaside, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Everett (Naomi) Lloyd, Raleigh, N.C., and Mrs. Nina Carey, Dowagiac, Mich., and 11 grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Claquato Cemetery, west of Chehalis, with Peter Knighten officiating.

Services are under the direction of Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia.
