Winlock Man Dies

WINLOCK - A chicken hatchery employe [sic], George Burton Larsen, 54, died at his home here Sunday after a short illness.

He was born Sept. 28, 1907, in Tacoma, and had lived in Winlock for the past 50 years.

He was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, the Masons and the Lewis County Lo-12 Club.

In addition to his widow, Vera, at home, survivors include a daughter Mrs. Barbara Ann Mahoney, Anchorage, Alaska; a son George Larsen Jr., at home; his mother, Mrs. Ella Sandve, Puyallup; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Wood, Mrs. Clara Halseth and Mrs. Sarah Merchant, all of Tacoma, and Mrs. Alma Larson of Wilkeson, Wash.; three brothers Louis and Lawrence, Tacoma, and Palmer, Enumclaw, and two grandchildren.

Masonic graveside services will be at the Winlock cemetery at 2 p.m., Tuesday, under the direction of the Cattermole Funeral Home of Winlock.
