Gary "Mouse" Clevenger, a lifetime resident of Lewis County, passed away Monday, April 1, 2003 at his home in Mineral, at the age of 61.

Born to Jack and Alice (Richman) Clevenger May 26, 1941 in Morton, WA. Raised in Morton, he graduated in 1960, and was married to Shirley (Robinson) Clevenger July 18, 1987.

A log truck driver, he loved trucks, from working on them to driving, he was a hard worker who never passed up the chance, and was especially proud of owning his own truck. Gary was a baseball fan whose backwoods humor brought smiles and laughs from all who knew him.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Survived by wife Shirley of Mineral; son Grayson of St. Paul, MN; daughters Shawna Franklin of Spanaway; Malinda Smith of Graham; Brenda and Donna; step-daughters Kristina Peterson of Portland and Regina Martinez of Centralia; sister Donna Wagner of Monroe; 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2003, 1:00 PM at the Mineral Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown Mortuary.
