MARRIED: Hayden-Walker
John Hayden, age twenty-two, and Bessie Walker, age eighteen, were married by Justice S. C. White in his office in Chehalis on Tuesday, July 11. The ceremony was interesting by reason of the fact that the contracting parties were both Indians. The bride was born on the Chehalis Indian reservation, and the groom was born in the Grays Harbor country. The groom's father's name was Bill Hanson but he adopted the name of his step-father, whose name is Hayden. The witnesses to the ceremony were Geo. Robinson and Horatio White.
