Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Fissel Funeral Home for Henry Wendling, whose lifeless body was found below the high overhead street car trestle between Chehalis and Centralia late Monday afternoon. Rev. Fred T. Lucas officiated. Burial was at Claquato. Following the finding of the body Wendling's body was removed to the Newell parlors at Centralia by direction of County Attorney Wm. H. Grimm. Later on orders of the family the body was brought to the Fissel Funeral Home in this city. Mr. Wendling, who had lived in Chehalis the past 22 years, was 48 years of age. His home was on Lafayette street. Surviving relatives are the widow, Mrs. Carolina Wendling; four daughters, Misses Matilda, Anna, Gizella and Henrietta; and a son, Henry jr.; also two brothers, Joe and John of Chehalis, and one sister, Mrs. Eva Kerth of Olympia.
