Death Takes Mrs. Boyd

Mrs. Janette N. Boyd, 71, of Centralia, died Saturday in a Chehalis Nursing home. She was born Sept. 28, 1897, in Michigan and had been a Centralia resident for the past five months, moving from Portland. She previously lived in Spokane.

Mrs. Boyd was practical nurse and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Milwaukie, Ore. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alfred (Nancy) Pope, Centralia, and Mrs. Reuben (Ramona) Hubbard, Vacaville, Calif.; two sons, William Fosmore, Phoenix, Ariz., and Arthur Fosmore, Grand Forks, N.D.; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Drier, Portland, and Mrs. May Drier, Portland and Mrs. May Drier, Muskeegen, Mich., [sic], 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Chehalis, with Elder W. R. Archbold officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Fissell-Brown Mortuary, Chehalis.

Transcribed by Jenny Tenlen. According to "Michigan Marriages, 1868-1925", Jennie J. Nestle and Raymond A. Fosmore were married in Bliss Twp., Emmet Co., Michigan on 22 Mar 1915. Janette was the daughter of William A. and Nancy J. Nestle, according to the 1900 census for Reynolds Twp., Montcalm Co., Michigan.
