"Centralian Dies Suddenly"

Death came suddenly early Monday at his home for John Henry (Jack) Williams, 71, a resident of Centralia for 30 years, and of Lewis county for 40 years.

Death was attributed to a heart attack. The family home is at 501 East Magnolia St. He was born March 31, 1886, in Cumberland, Wisc., and for a number of years was employed as a maintenance man at a Centralia garage firm.

Surviving are the wife, Florence, Centralia; two sons, Milton E. Williams, Chehalis, and Merwin F., Centralia; daughter, Thelma Lea Albrecht, Chehalis, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m., at Newell-Hoerling's, Centralia. The Rev. Walter Gleiser will officiate and interment will be at Mountain View.
