Service Set At Chehalis
Mrs. Jessie Palmer, 78, route 8, Olympia, died Sunday in a Chehalis hospital.
She had lived in rural Olympia for the past eight years, and for 20 years prior to that lived at route 1, Chehalis.
Mrs. Palmer was born Sept. 16, 1883, at Nevada, Iowa. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church.
Survivors include her husband, Roland D., at home: five daughters, Mrs. Esther Nuernberger, Portland; Mrs. Homer Fry an dMrs. [sic] Wesley Wendt, Granger, Wash.; Mrs. Kenneth Chandler, Wapato, and Mrs. Robert Scheidler, Fairfield, Wash.; two sons, Cecil R., Centralia, ad Elwood E., Wapato; one brother, Elder J. K. Fish, Hood River, Ore.; 21 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Danny Matthews at 3 p.m. Thursday, at the Boone Mortuary chapel in Chehalis. Interment will be in Claquato cemetery.
