John R. McAfee, aged 91, a resident of Centralia for 30 years, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Jerry R. Zumwalt, 1303 South Gold street. In addition to Mrs. Zumwalt he is survived by his widow, Alice; daughter. Mrs. Emma Henderson, San Francisco, and son, Oeorge W. McAfee, Glendale, Cal. The deceased was a direct descendant cf President Buchanan. He was a member of the Elks' lodge at Glendale.
The body is at the Sticklin mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
