50 Year Resident Of Lewis County Dies
Another of the real Lewis county pioneers passed away here Sunday afternoon at 4:30 when Mrs. Katherine Gant Waybright, aged 90 years, died a the home of her granddaughter, Mrs T. O. Hendricks, in Chehalis. Deceased was born February 28, 1841, at Elkhart, Ind., and had lived in Lewis county 50 years. Her family is one of the best known pioneer families in this section. Deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Louis Klaus of route 3 Chehalis; two sons, W. W. Weybright of Jacksonville, Ore. and M. G. Weybright of Los Angeles; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The body was removed to the Sticklin Mortuary.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sticklin chapel. Rev. J. C. Tourtellot of the local Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was in the Napavine cemetery.
