PE ELL - A half-century resident of Pe Ell, Martin Kocaj, 76, died Thursday in a Centralia hospital following a lingering illness. he was born Sept. 21, 1886, in Harta, Poland.
Mr. Kocaj was a retired sawmill worker and farmer. He retired in 1945. He was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic church here and of the Polish National Alliance.
Survivors include a brother, Michael, in Poland; a niece, Maria Koziat, in Poland and numerous other relatives.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Sticklin Funeral Home, Chehalis.
