Death Takes Ex-Resident
Word has been received of the death of a former Chehalis resident, Ray Peacock, 78, of Waitsburg, who died there Saturday.
He was born Sept, 21, 1883, in Stafford, Kan., and was a resident of the Chehalis and Onalaska areas from 1930 to 1941. He operated a theatre in Chehalis and later in Onalaska. until a short time before his death he operated a theatre in Waitsburg.
Survivors include a son, Jack Peacock, Arvada, Calif.; two brothers and two sisters, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in Waitsburg.
