News from Chehalis (Bee Nugget)
Saturday Mrs. John Strasser, of Cinebar, came very near being killed in a runaway accident. She secured Mr. Oest's team to drive to Napavine. Mr. Oest suggested that she wait until he got home, but she undertook to drive the team without doing so. Near Joe Saunder's place her boy struck one horse with the whip and the team ran. When the smashup finally came Mrs. Strasser was found unconscious in the road suffering from a blow on the head. She was unconscious for two or three days, according to reports. Mrs. Strasser's little girl had a leg broken in the accident. The boy was unhurt.
