Ed Strasser of Cinebar spent the week end at the homeof [sic] Clyde Blair.

Frank Scott attended a birthday party given in his honor Sunday evening at the W. W. Ford home in Centralia. Pinochle was played throughout the evening and Mr. Scott was presented a gift by each guest. Those enjoying the party were Mr. and Mrs. E.E. Morris, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Northwang. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Burris, Mrs. Hester Lake, Mrs. Lucretia Thompson, Miss Maxie Holzer, Mr. Rudolph Wiehardt. Mrs. Mable Edwards, Miss Neva Johnes, Mrs. Kate Weed, Mr. Scott and Mr. and Mrs. Ford.

Miss Sue Fleming spent the week end at the home of her parents.

Visitors at the H. Hail home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Brock of Tacoma. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Blair and baby of Raymond.

Harold Jessemey spent Sunday at the Guy McLeod home.

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Kienan and children of Onalaska visited at the Frank Blair home Sunday.

Evelyn Neely and Alice Blair, members of the 4-H Canning club gave demonstrations at the leaders meeting in Chehalis Saturday.

Mrs. Rusk, Mrs. Bartlette and Mrs. Hail attended an all day Home Economics meeting in Onalaska Monday.

Be sure and come to the basket social at the Bennett school house Saturday night April 27. There will be a program put on by the boys of the Bennett 4-H Dairy club who is sponsoring the social.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fleming are planting their lawn to the new lawn moss that requires no mowing.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Keenan helped Chester Keenan celebrate his birthday Friday evening April 19th, by sharing a nice birthday supper with the Claude Keenan and Park Harms families.
