BENNETT (p. 9)

Elsie Reynolds is home from Onalaska for a few weeks.

The Home Helpers club met at the home of Mrs. Dave Walker, Dec. 11th. Twelve members and one visitor were present. A potluck dinner was enjoyed at noon. Each member brought one type of homemade candy and exchanged so each member had a different assortment. Christmas gifts were exchanged around a lovely tree. The next meeting will be held on January 9th at the home of Mrs. Kitty Wright.

The Bennett 4-H Poultry club met at the home of Leslie Hail on Dec. 12th. Four members and one visitor were present. A short business session was held and later a lunch. The next meeting will be at the home of Jack Spath, January 9th.

Ed Hoffman of San Francisco called at the Fleming home Sunday.

Mr. Walter Rusk and daughter, Betty, spent the week end in Tacoma with relatives.


BENNETT (p. 13)

Mrs. Hazel Shore entertained the Ladies' Auxiliary 53 at a noon luncheon Wednesday, Dec. 4th. Plans for a Christmas tree were discussed and members exchanged gifts.

Those present were Frieda Carson, Goldie Morgan, Elsie Standinger, Erma Hummel, Bessie Reynolds, Mable Ames, Iva Hail and the hostess, Hazel Shore.

Dinner guests Sunday at the Art Ames home were Leon Ames and Ronda Green of Randle.

Anyone interested in the Bennett community Christmas tree see Mrs. Wade Brooks or Mrs. H. Hail.

Mr. and Mrs. H. Keenan and family visited friends at Ajlune Sunday evening.

Mrs. Arthur Ames and Josephine Amrine attended a home economic meeting at Onalaska on Dec. 4th.
