BENNETT

There will be a bridal shower for Madge Sanders at the Bennett schoolhouse on August 29. Everyone is invited.

Mr. and Mrs. Guy McLeod motored to Silver Creek Sunday and then visited with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Miller at Riffe.

The Bennett 4-H Poultry club met at the home of Neil Wright August 16. Four members and two visitors were present. Entries for the fair and a club project were discussed. The next meeting will be held at the home of Jim Lehman, August 27.

Miss Donna Stewart spent Sunday through Wednesday at Puget Sound with Mr. and Mrs. John Richman.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hail and family spent Sunday at Logan Hill at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Brock.

Miss Elsie Reynolds and Miss Betty LaDue of Chehalis spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Guy McLeod.

Glen Brooks was home from the CCC camp and George Brooks was home from Oregon over the week end.

A bridal shower was given in honor of Mrs. Ersie Thayer, formerly Miss Ersie Blankenship, at the Dave Walker home on August 15th. About twenty guests were there and many gifts were sent.

Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Wright and family have moved to Carvalis [stet], Ore., and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Amrine of Salkum have taken over the place.
