HARD HIT BY FLU

Bunker, Wash. - The Spanish flu epidemic hit our local very hard. At one time thirty members were down, and there were scores of cases among their families. We suffered two deaths, Walter Cunningham, Member 31,873, and Orvis Wallace, Member 32,579. The mill was closed down for two weeks. We subscribed 100% to the War Work Drive inside of twenty-four hours November 11. We trust the L. L. L. L. will be continued as our organization after peace is declared. There is too much merit in it to allow it to disintegrate. - G. S. Williams, Local 14, District 4.
